The Historic Mapping Congress had a successful AGM on Saturday, November 13. The meeting took place in-person at The Charlotte Museum of History and by Zoom.
In the morning, there were presentations by Adria Focht about "The Charlotte Museum of History"; David McCorkle about "Describing the Land"; and Hugh Dussek about the "Trail of History." The Zoom recording of the program can be seen at: Research Presentations
In the afternoon, the Congress examined and discussed a new interactive map of historic sites in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida in the Revolutionary Era. The Zoom recording of the program can be seen at:

The Congress held the annual general meeting through a webinar and Zoom programs in conjunction with The Charlotte Museum of History on Saturday, December 12, 2020, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
​
The program included presentations about Mecklenburg County in the Colonial and Revolutionary Eras: the roads, rivers, fords, ferries and other features in the Colonial and Revolutionary Eras.
​
11:00 am - 12:00 pm: Presentations about historical maps and mapping.
​
12:15 pm - 1:00 pm: Annual general meeting of the Congress.
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Interactive program about the composite map recording information about Mecklenburg County in the Revolutionary Era.
